For Cailyn, cosmetic tattooing is equal parts artistry and trust. Before a pigment is selected or a shape is mapped, she takes the time to understand each client's goals, lifestyle, and the subtle details that make their features their own. Only then does the artistic process begin.

Cailyn doesn’t believe cosmetic tattooing should follow a template. Shape, pigment, placement, technique, and intensity are considered together so the finished result complements your natural features rather than competing with them.
Sometimes that means adding definition. Sometimes it means restoring color, creating the appearance of fuller brows, or simply making the everyday routine easier.

Cailyn completed one-on-one advanced cosmetic tattoo training with Danielle Kincaid, Founder, Master Artist + Trainer at FACE Academy, further refining her brow artistry and advanced machine techniques through individualized, hands-on education.
Danielle is an internationally recognized PMU educator, competition judge and industry speaker. Working one-on-one with her expanded the techniques Cailyn can draw from when designing brows around each client’s natural hair, skin, features, and desired result.

From Client to Practitioner
She knew The Club before she joined it.
Cailyn’s relationship with The Aesthetics Club began before she ever worked here. She first experienced the practice as a client and connected with its approach to individualized, natural-looking aesthetics.
Her path to cosmetic tattooing wasn’t linear. After earning her degree from The Ohio State University, Cailyn worked in marketing, fundraising, and nonprofit events before realizing she wanted a career where creativity, precision, artistry, and meaningful connection could exist in the same place. She found that intersection in cosmetic tattooing.
After completing her tattoo apprenticeship in Tennessee and pursuing advanced education in permanent makeup, Cailyn eventually joined the practice she had once visited as a client.

When She’s Not at The Club
Usually somewhere outside.
Outside the treatment room, Cailyn is usually exploring the outdoors with her dog, Moose. She loves hiking, kayaking, yoga, reading, traveling, and volunteering with rescue dogs and horses.
Her work requires patience, observation, and attention to small details. Her time away from it tends to be the opposite: outside, moving, exploring, and spending time with the people and animals she loves.

Lip Blushing is a cosmetic tattoo treatment designed to enhance natural lip color and definition through customized pigment. Cailyn’s approach is soft and individualized rather than intended to resemble traditional lipstick.
Does Lip Blushing make your lips bigger?
Lip Blushing does not add physical volume. By enhancing color, border definition, and symmetry, it can make the natural lip shape appear more defined.
What is the difference between Nano Brows, Ombré Powder Brows, and Combo Brows?
Nano Brows use ultra-fine, machine-created hair strokes to mimic natural brow hairs for a soft, realistic look. Ombré Powder Brows use customized shading to create fuller, more defined brows with a soft powder finish. Combo Brows combine Nano hair strokes with powder shading for natural-looking dimension with a little more definition.
How do I know which eyebrow tattoo technique is right for me?
Cailyn considers your natural brow hair, skin, facial features, previous cosmetic tattooing, goals, and preferred level of definition before recommending a technique. You do not need to decide between Nano, Ombré Powder, or Combo Brows before your consultation.
Can Cailyn work over an existing brow tattoo?
Possibly. Existing pigment needs to be evaluated first. Color, saturation, shape, placement, and previous technique can all affect whether new work is appropriate or whether fading or removal should be considered first.
What are Freckle Tattoos?
Freckle Tattoos are cosmetic tattoos placed to create the appearance of natural freckles. Placement, density, and intensity are customized around your features and desired result.
How do cosmetic tattoos look immediately after treatment?
Cosmetic tattooing typically appears darker, brighter, or more defined immediately after treatment than it will once healed. The appearance changes throughout the healing process before the final result settles.
How long does cosmetic tattooing take to heal?
Healing varies by treatment, skin, aftercare, and the individual. Cailyn provides service-specific aftercare and explains what to expect during the initial healing period and as the final color develops.
What if I have a history of cold sores and want Lip Blushing?
Lip tattooing may trigger a cold-sore outbreak in people with a history of herpes simplex. Tell Cailyn before treatment and speak with your medical provider about whether preventive antiviral medication is appropriate. Active outbreaks must be fully healed before Lip Blushing.
Can I combine Lip Blushing with lip filler?
Often, yes, but they should not be performed at the same appointment. Cailyn and your injector can help coordinate treatment order and appropriate spacing based on your treatment history and goals.
Is a perfecting appointment part of cosmetic tattooing?
A perfecting appointment may be included or recommended depending on the service and treatment plan. Cailyn will explain what is included and the appropriate timing before treatment.
